Craig P. Kvale has been practicing law in the State of Ohio for more than twenty five years before both the State and Federal courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. As a partner with our firm, Craig’s practice areas focus on business litigation, civil litigation and family law, with an emphasis on Collaborative Law.

Craig has substantial Domestic Relations Court experience in matters involving complex financial and business matters. In his civil litigation practice, he has prevailed before juries in both State and Federal courts. With expertise in complex business and general litigation addressing a diverse array of personal and business disputes, Craig's practice focuses on resolution of matters primarily for individuals and small and middle-market companies, along with the non-litigation or out-of-state law firms which represent them. Craig has obtained verdicts in excess of $5 million in cases receiving national press.

In addition to his litigation practice, Craig is also a founding member and past President (2006) of the Center for Principled Family Advocacy, and one of the founding members of the Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals, as well as a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Craig seeks to use a Collaborative approach to both family law and business disputes where possible and appropriate.

Craig was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1991, to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio in 1992; U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit in 1995; the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio in 1996, and California in 1998 (non-active).
